Afterword
Thank you very much for purchasing Volume 2, following Volume 1.
This is my seventh book published, and I’m gradually running out of things to write in afterwords—Hoshino Seiya here.
I hope you enjoyed Volume 2 as well?
This time, the story took place during summer vacation, with the protagonist being swept up by the heroines, and there were some changes—or lack thereof—in the relationships between the characters, right?
Airi shared a special day in the countryside, Yuria grew closer through the water slide incident, and Rui built a strong bond of mutual care and trust through various events. By the way, Tanaka was just being Tanaka (in other words, no progress).
Amidst all these charming heroines, a new beautiful girl appeared at the end this time… It’s really exciting to see how things will unfold from here, isn’t it?
When reading feedback for this work, it seems like there are a lot of Tanaka fans, and Tanaka is quite a popular character.
As the author, when I started the web version, I initially planned for Tanaka to only be mentioned by name early on and not appear later, but while writing Rui’s story, I needed another middle school classmate besides Ryouta. Since I hadn’t clearly decided Tanaka’s gender yet, that’s how the character Tanaka Kanade was born.
I often get asked whether Tanaka is a heroine, and to be clear, Tanaka is absolutely a proper heroine.
You can never have too many heroines, right?
…Well, I’ve talked a lot about Tanaka so far, but please continue to get along with Tanaka, everyone.
Now, I’d like to move on to acknowledgments.
First, to my editor who always supports this work.
Since I started giving weekly progress reports, I’ve been able to build up a stock of updates for the web version. It was as thrilling as switching from glasses to contact lenses. Thank you always.
And to the illustrator, Kuroto Yuu-sensei.
Thank you for the always wonderful illustrations. The swimsuit cover art was absolutely perfect!
Also, to my best friend with whom I talk on the phone almost every day.
It’s been about six years since our university days, chatting at night about recent events or playing games together, but when you think about it, six years is incredible. Yet it feels like it passed in a flash.
Thank you for always buying my works. Let me sign something for you next time we meet.
Lastly, to all the readers who always read this work.
Thank you so much. The writer Hoshino Seiya continues to grow thanks to you, the readers.
The manga adaptation of this work has also started serialization, so please support that as well.
Well then, everyone, thank you for reading this far.
