Chapter 3: The Essence of an Idol
“Nice one, Shizuku-chan! Can you look this way next?”
In the studio, the photographer’s instructions are accompanied by the sound of shutters and flashes directed at Shizuku.
It’s a process of capturing every fleeting expression and movement of the idol, Himeno Shizuku, as if freezing them in time.
Modeling for photoshoots is an important and familiar task for an idol. Changing into multiple outfits, sometimes fully embodying a role, and continuing to perform for the camera.
Once you get used to it, the set can even feel enjoyable, but according to the photographer, a model’s mental state greatly influences the outcome—
“—Hehe!”
The camera lens perfectly captures Himeno Shizuku’s dazzling smile without missing a beat.
“Alright, that’s a wrap! —Wow, you’re always great, but you’re especially on fire today. Something happen?”
The female photographer asks casually, as if making small talk.
So Shizuku responds with her usual smile.
“It’s just that Ms. Sato gets me so pumped up, I can’t help but have fun!”
“Oh, you smooth talker. When Shizuku-chan says stuff like that, even if I know it’s flattery, I can’t help but feel thrilled!”
“It’s not flattery, I swear! —Oh, and recently, I found this amazing pancake place. I’ll tell you about it later, okay?”
“Oh, so that’s your real motive, huh?”
“Hehe, no way!”
After some light chit-chat, Shizuku heads to her next job.
That day, she’s set to appear on a live music show to promote her upcoming tour.
First, she greets the staff alongside her group members, then heads to the makeup room to be styled. Dressed in a white-based outfit, she meets with the show’s staff for a briefing before heading to rehearsal.
And then, the real show begins.
Amid casual banter with other performers, songs are performed one after another.
When the show reaches its midpoint, it’s time for Shizuku’s idol group, Princia, to take the stage.
As the music starts, she sings while executing choreography ingrained in her body.
“—When I see you, my heart skips a beat!♪”
The camera’s zoom and angle are spot-on.
Aiming for the perfect moment, she throws a dazzling wink.
While her mind remains calm, her face beams with a vibrant smile, delivering a performance that showcases ‘Himeno Shizuku’ to the fullest.
Pinpointing key moments to leave a lasting impression—that’s always the core.
It’s not just about her position relative to her group members. She calculates and controls her every move, factoring in the camera’s movements and her positioning relative to the audience and other performers.
That’s how the idol Himeno Shizuku climbed to the very top—
“—Thank you so much!”
Once the music show’s recording wraps up, she exchanges greetings with the staff again.
Afterward, she quickly prepares to leave and is driven home by her manager.
Having changed into a refined dress, Shizuku reflects on the day’s reactions during the ride home.
“You were amazing today, as always! No wonder you’re so popular.”
“My nephew’s been begging for your autograph. Could you maybe hook him up?”
“We’ll call you again. Keep up the great work at your live shows!”
It feels like every co-star and staff member was full of praise.
Still, Shizuku has some points for self-reflection.
I might’ve gotten a bit too emotional today. Just because my body felt lighter than usual, I can’t let myself get carried away.
She knows the reason.
Lately, she’s been able to relax more effectively.
Especially the fact that she managed to take a thirty-minute nap during a time she usually wouldn’t sleep.
The fact that a male classmate from her school has played a role in that is something she absolutely can’t admit publicly.
…Sezaki Touya-kun, huh?
He’s a peculiar person, she thinks.
He has no interest in her as an idol, yet he engages with her true self.
He’s not overly eager, and that distance feels strangely comfortable.
Being in the industry, Shizuku has a keen eye for observation. From what she’s seen, he’s probably the type who doesn’t care about titles or status. That’s likely why she enjoys this relationship where she’s not treated as special.
She never imagined she’d let someone see her unguarded self, but it’s not as bad as she expected. Maybe because she’s not overthinking like she does as an idol, though her tendency to let her guard down completely is a bit of a problem.
Forgetting to properly close the door to a private room? That’s something I’d never do as an idol…
She was low on energy back then, sure, but it’s proof she was too relaxed.
That said, it’s because of that moment she ended up connecting with him.
Thinking back, even though a male classmate started working at her usual karaoke place, she never felt particularly wary from the start. She didn’t even consider changing locations.
In that sense, too, he’s a strange person, she thinks.
When she goes back to school, she’ll probably see him again.
The same goes if she visits his workplace.
At that thought, Shizuku lightly shakes her head.
I’m not the type to succeed by relying on instinct alone. I need to control everything properly.
Industry insiders often say Himeno Shizuku succeeded because she’s blessed with “good looks,” “good luck,” and “an aura,” but that’s not the whole story.
Known online as the “goddess-like beauty,” Shizuku is fully aware of her privileged appearance and upbringing, but she also believes she’s the type who needs to calculate her moves to succeed. She’s not some instinctive genius.
After all, in her own eyes, her true personality isn’t “cute” in the slightest.
That’s why she can’t afford to let her guard down. She can’t show her real self or her weaknesses.
Playing a false version of herself—switching between lies—doesn’t feel wrong to her anymore.
But if she’s going to lie, she believes she has to commit to it fully. She can’t afford to let her lies be exposed and disappoint her fans.
Part of it is because her fans matter, but more than that, Shizuku fears being exposed and despised.
Starting tomorrow, she has drama guest appearances, a location shoot touring a shopping district, and dance lessons for her live shows—her schedule is packed.
That’s exactly why she needs to steel herself even more.
Relaxation is just that—relaxation. It’s supposed to be a means to perform her main job smoothly.
Even though she knows this, her heart yearns for something different.
“…Will he keep hanging out with me?”
In a voice so soft no one could hear, Shizuku murmurs to herself.
As she gazes out the car window, the city’s nightscape seems brighter than usual.
◇
It happened during lunch break.
While Touya is eating lunch with Shuuichi in the classroom, the back door was flung open with force.
“Hey, Touya, come with me for a sec.”
The one who appeared out of nowhere, announcing this with a displeased expression, is Kanai Natsuki, a girl from the next class.
With her chestnut-colored medium-length hair tied in a side ponytail, she has a flashy appearance and is a band girl in the light music club.
Since she and Touya went to the same middle school, they’re somewhat close, but they haven’t interacted much lately.
So Touya frowns, wondering what’s up.
“What’s this all of a sudden? I’m eating lunch here.”
“It won’t take long.”
“Even if you say that…”
As Touya hesitates, Shuuichi, eating at the same desk, nudges him teasingly.
“Just go, man! Maybe spring’s finally coming for you, Touya!”
“Oh, come on…”
“Shut it, Mukai. Better yet, drop dead.”
Brushed off by an even more irritated Natsuki, Shuuichi shrinks back dejectedly.
The classroom buzzes with curiosity, so Touya reluctantly stands up.
“Fine, but just for a bit.”
“…”
Following Natsuki, who leaves the classroom silently, Touya steps out as well.
Just before exiting, he locks eyes with Shizuku, who’s looking at him curiously.
“Hey, how far are you planning to go?”
Chasing after Natsuki, who’s striding down the hallway, Touya calls out with an exasperated tone.
But Natsuki seems uninterested in answering, her pace unrelenting.
She finally stops and turns around in an area lined with club rooms for cultural activities and specialized classrooms, far from the regular classrooms.
“This spot should do.”
“Was it really necessary to come all the way here?”
“It’s better if no one overhears this.”
Facing a visibly annoyed Touya, Natsuki deliberately clears her throat before speaking.
“So, you’ve been getting pretty close to Himeno-san lately, huh?”
“Huh?”
The unexpected words from Natsuki make Touya mentally raise a question mark.
“I mean, like, with Himeno-san…”
Natsuki trails off, seemingly struggling to say more.
Seeing her attitude, Touya guesses what’s going on.
“Oh, don’t get the wrong idea. We’re not dating or anything.”
“Huh?”
Now it’s Natsuki’s turn to sport a question mark.
For some reason, her face looks angry.
“Wait, that’s not what this is about?”
“Not even close! Himeno-san is a top idol who descended to this world! No way she’d date some random guy our age!”
“Huh…? Then what’s this about?”
Feeling a bit irked by her tone, Touya asks, and Natsuki fidgets before responding.
“So, like… are you a fan of Himeno-san? That’s what I wanted to ask.”
Got it, Touya thinks, understanding the situation.
From her tone, Natsuki must be a fan of Shizuku and came to check if Touya, who’s recently gotten closer to her, is one too.
Which means Touya’s response should be—
“Nah, I’m not a fan of Himeno.”
Stating the plain truth, Natsuki gapes in shock.
Then her eyes twitch, and she asks with visible irritation.
“Then why are you hanging around Himeno-san? Someone saw you two together after school the other day.”
“Because we’re friends, obviously.”
“—!”
Calling his relationship with Shizuku “friends” feels oddly right to Touya.
Meanwhile, Natsuki freezes in surprise, so Touya says with a sigh.
“Looks like we’re done here, so I’m heading back. You talk too much, Kanai, and if I let you go on, lunch break’ll be over.”
“Hold on a sec.”
Grabbing his shoulder firmly, Natsuki stops him.
“What? There’s more?”
“You’re seriously telling me you’re around Himeno-san but not a fan? Are you sane?”
“As sane as it gets. What’s weird about that?”
“It’s totally weird! Being around a drop-dead gorgeous idol like her and not becoming a fan? That’s insane!”
Faced with Natsuki’s booming declaration echoing through the hallway, Touya’s the one left dumbfounded now.
This is it. Unlike casual fans like Shuuichi, she’s the real deal.
A hardcore idol otaku—a “doru-ota,” no doubt.
Finally grasping the situation, Touya clutches his head dramatically and says.
“I get how you feel, Kanai. But thinking everyone shares your values is a mistake.”
“No way, it’s impossible. So what? You’re saying you’re just purely friends with the top idol Himeno Shizuku-chan?”
She’s gone full-on with the “-chan” suffix now.
She wasn’t like this until mid-last year—what happened in the past few months?
There’s no point in sugarcoating it, so Touya speaks his honest feelings.
“Exactly. Got a problem with that? I’m not interested in the idol Himeno Shizuku, but I’m friends with the classmate Himeno. Nothing more, nothing less, and no one gets to tell me otherwise.”
Saying it with a bit of edge, Touya catches Natsuki off guard, and she freezes.
But only for a moment. Regaining her composure, Natsuki raises a finger.
“Fine, I get that you’re friends with Himeno-san. I don’t like it, but I also get you’re not a fan.”
“Yeah.”
“Then give me a chance.”
“A chance?”
“Yeah, a chance to make you a fan of the idol Himeno Shizuku-chan. Think of it as learning more about your friend’s good qualities—it’s a win for you too, right?”
There’s some logic to what she’s saying… or so it seems. It might just be her momentum pushing him along.
But Touya knows Natsuki’s the type who doesn’t back down once she’s set on something. Arguing might just waste more time.
So, reluctantly, Touya nods.
“Fine, but I’m not exactly swimming in free time, you know?”
“Says the guy who’s not in any clubs. —First, I’ll lend you the Blu-ray of the live footage of Princia, the group Shizuku-chan’s in, so watch it at home. For now, I can give you a quick rundown of her profile or show you my photo collection.”
“I’m not looking for anything too intense…”
Facing Natsuki, who’s already going full throttle, Touya feels a bad premonition but gets swept up in her enthusiasm.
Ignoring his confusion, Natsuki fiddles with her phone and closes in, rapid-fire talking about the idol Himeno Shizuku.
“Look at this. It’s the promotional photo from when she topped the ‘face teens want to have’ ranking last year. The balance of transparency and allure is just too perfect—it’s insane! I couldn’t even believe we’re the same age! And this is the video that earned her the ‘goddess-like beauty’ title—”
From there, until the lunch break bell rings, she bombards him with a machine-gun monologue.
Natsuki’s been thriving lately, balancing club activities and her otaku life, and she seems thrilled to have found a shared topic with Touya, whom she’d grown distant from.
The reason they drifted apart was because Touya quit his club.
Since Natsuki had cheered for him during their middle school club days, Touya felt awkward after quitting, and Natsuki, being considerate, naturally grew distant.
So Touya feels a bit indebted to her, but this time, it feels like they’re talking like old times again.
That said, he didn’t expect to be so relentlessly bombarded with her hobby, and by the time he returns to the classroom, he’s utterly exhausted.
Back in the classroom, Shuuichi teases him, but Touya’s too drained to engage.
Noticing Shizuku, who doesn’t even glance his way, Touya waits for afternoon classes to start.
◇
“How did it come to this…?”
On a weekend evening.
Touya, lamenting, finds himself at a large concert hall in Tokyo.
The area is packed with a bustling crowd.
After all, today’s the day Himeno Shizuku’s idol group, Princia, is holding a live event at this venue.
It all started two days ago—Natsuki invited him, saying, “The friend I was supposed to go to the live with bailed, so I have an extra ticket. Come with me!”
Thinking back, maybe Natsuki approached him out of the blue because she was looking for someone to go to this event with.
“Alright! We got everything we need from the merch stand, and you’re all changed and ready!”
Touya and Natsuki are decked out in live T-shirts and towels, fully looking the part of fans. These are spoils from lining up in the long queue at the merch stand, which opened two hours before the event.
Following Natsuki’s lead, even Touya blends in with the crowd.
“The free ticket is nice and all, but the T-shirt and penlight were a painful expense.”
Lamenting again, Touya is met with Natsuki’s constant high energy as she gleefully responds.
“That’s what part-time jobs are for! You should be thanking me for giving you a reason to spend your hard-earned cash.”
“Putting merch aside, why do I have to go watch a classmate’s live with another classmate…?”
“Just come on! The seats are pretty good, so look forward to it!”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Though half-forced, the fact that he’s here on a day off means Touya’s already resigned himself. Still, there’s something nagging at him.
It’s that he hasn’t told Shizuku he’s attending her live.
The invitation from Natsuki was sudden, and he doesn’t have Shizuku’s contact info, so it couldn’t be helped, but it’s weighing on his mind.
Still, he figures she won’t find out if he doesn’t tell her, and he heads to their seats.
“Standing is fine, but be careful swinging your penlight. And the chants—you memorized the video I sent, right?”
“I memorized them, but I’m not planning to do them.”
“…Fine, whatever. Forcing rules on a newbie and getting labeled a problem fan would suck.”
To Touya, Natsuki’s already a problem fan, but he keeps that to himself.
Problem fans are problematic precisely because they lack self-awareness, and in many ways, they’re bundles of raw energy—something Touya’s learned over the past few days. …Or maybe it’s just Natsuki.
Looking around, as expected, everyone’s dressed like them. The audience spans a wide age range, and while the gender ratio leans one way, the diverse support base is impressive.
So all these people are Himeno’s fans… It’s a breathtaking sight.
Marveling at the scene, Touya, with some time before the event starts, decides to talk to Natsuki, seated next to him.
“Hey, Kanai, when did you become a fan of Himeno? It was after starting high school, right?”
“About half a year ago, I think. …Around the time you quit your club.”
“Got it. What sparked it?”
“I was just done with everything, you know? Then I heard Princia’s ‘Your Only Princess,’ and it hit me hard. Like, ‘These princesses are here for me…’ It gave me energy, like a reason to keep going.”
“Huh.”
“Shizuku-chan especially—she’s totally my type. I’m so jealous of her face. But it’s not just that—her whole way of living is so cool.”
“Cool?”
The unexpected word makes Natsuki nod enthusiastically.
“Yeah, Shizuku-chan never flinches, even when things go wrong. She’s always smiling, but when it counts, she nails it. She’s just too perfect—I’ll follow her forever!”
“I see.”
It’s a different impression from the Shizuku Touya knows, but the fact that she’s giving Natsuki energy, vitality, and admiration makes him genuinely impressed by the idol Himeno Shizuku.
Feeling like she’s said too much, Natsuki shyly looks at her Himeno Shizuku badge before continuing with a smile.
“Basically, Princia—or rather, Himeno Shizuku-chan—is my savior!”
“Savior, huh. Do you ever talk to her at school?”
“No way I could! Even though we’re at the same school, I usually keep my distance, even just looking from afar. When I went to your classroom the other day, my heart was racing, and I was sweating buckets.”
“That’s how it is?”
“I’m a fan of the idol Himeno Shizuku, not her private self. I don’t want to bother her, so I keep that boundary clear—it’s important to me.”
So Natsuki has her own sense of distance, Touya thinks, genuinely impressed by her fan etiquette.
“By the way, Princia has three members, but your top pick is Himeno, right?”
“Absolutely. Shizuku-chan is the absolute, unwavering center—the treasure of this world, a once-in-a-hundred-billion-years legendary beautiful idol girl! That goddess-like, angelic form of hers heals every phenomenon in existence!”
The idol group Princia is composed of three members: the immovable center and Pure Pink representative, Himeno Shizuku; the Sparkling Yellow representative, Kishi Yuina; and the Flavor Blue representative, Aomine Kaoruko.
To break it down into simple types: Himeno Shizuku falls under the pure and innocent category, Kishi Yuina is the energetic type, and Aomine Kaoruko handles the seductive charm role.
Among them, Himeno Shizuku’s popularity and name recognition are overwhelmingly dominant—she’s practically the group’s undisputed ace and public face. Even so, considering how they’ve successfully pulled off multiple large-scale live events as a group, the other two members can definitely be called impressive idols in their own right.
“So basically, you’re saying you just like her face.”
“If you want to say it in the most dreamless way, sure. But seriously, her aura is insane! Her voice, her singing, her dancing—even the tiniest gesture is absolutely perfect!”
“So, everything about her?”
“Obviously! Her very existence is precious!”
Seeing Natsuki talk so fervently, practically brimming with excitement, Touya felt as if he was looking at something dazzling.
When someone is absorbed in something they love, that alone exudes an energy powerful enough to inspire others.
Perhaps that’s why Touya himself felt his own excitement rising naturally.
“Look, it’s about to start.”
Just as Natsuki said, the venue lights dimmed shortly after.
The crowd, which had been noisy just moments before, fell into silence, and the hall was wrapped in an uncanny atmosphere, with only bright BGM playing.
As the intro begins, the audience starts counting down in unison: “Three, two, one—”
“““—It goes on, forever and ever!♪”””
Appearing on stage along with the singing voices were the three members of Princia, dressed in dazzling idol costumes.
In an instant, the enthusiasm in the venue exploded.
“Everyone, thanks for coming today!”
Bathed in the spotlight, the idol Himeno Shizuku calls out.
Adorned in a pink outfit, Himeno Shizuku stood at the center, calling out loudly through her ear mic, prompting the audience to erupt into wild cheers.
The first song is one of Princia’s signature hits, known to everyone.
Seeing live call-and-response for the first time, Touya is genuinely shocked by how unified the venue feels.
The energy doesn’t let up, and after three songs, the group transitions to an MC segment.
“Hey, everyone~! I’m Shizuku, your Pure Pink member~! Let’s have lots and lots of fun today~♪”
Himeno Shizuku’s cheerful voice echoed throughout the entire hall.
Even though the girl standing on stage was someone he knew well, for some reason Touya felt she was distant, and he couldn’t help but experience a strange sense of loneliness.
By the time the members had finished their greetings, Touya noticed an imbalance in the colors of the penlights held up by the audience.
Pink took up about eighty percent, while yellow and blue were each roughly ten percent. If these colors represented each member’s fanbase, it clearly showed that Shizuku, whose color was pink, overwhelmingly dominated in popularity.
Natsuki, beside him, holds a fan with “Forever Shizuku! Peace sign!” written on it, waving a pink penlight.
Touya switches his penlight to pink and holds it up for now.
The members’ casual banter continues for a while, but when it wraps up, Shizuku steps forward.
“Alright, we’re gonna move on to our next song—everyone, are you ready~?”
The crowd responds to Shizuku’s question with a loud cheer.
“““Next up, this song!”””
As the three idols say in unison, the intro starts playing.
As the venue erupted into incredible excitement, Touya found himself gradually consumed by that passionate fervor──
“—I love you!☆”
On the giant screen, Himeno Shizuku winks and makes a heart shape with her fingers.
After a brief pause—
“““““WAAAH!!”””””
A deafening roar erupts in the venue.
Himeno Shizuku’s performance gripped the hearts of her fans, pushing the excitement in the venue to its absolute peak.
“She’s incredible—Idol Himeno Shizuku, I mean.”
When Touya expressed his honest thoughts, Natsuki vigorously nodded in agreement at incredible speed.
On stage, Shizuku shone like a glittering star, possessing an astonishingly clear presence combined with charming beauty. Her cute voice and sharp dance moves set her apart as a uniquely radiant existence.
…Yet, as Touya gazed at that top idol from afar, he still felt inexplicably lonely, a faint feeling of melancholy.
He can’t quite put into words the complex emotions swirling within him.
Of course, knowing that the usually cool and indifferent Shizuku was now enthusiastically declaring lines like, “I really love you☆,” while dressed as an idol, was enough of a gap to make him squirm internally.
- Moreover, this particular gap was something probably only Touya knew. To deny feeling superior would be a lie.
Precisely because of that, Touya couldn’t understand why his heart was feeling so unsettled.
“—Next up, this song! ‘My Summer☆Summer Vacation’!”
While he’s lost in thought, the next song seems to have started.
Touya inwardly thought the song title sounded rather silly, but the fans appeared completely captivated by its upbeat melody, creating even greater excitement in the hall than before.
Still not fully into it due to his wandering thoughts, Touya gazes absently at Shizuku on stage.
““—!””
At that moment, their eyes meet.
No mistake—Shizuku, on stage, is locking eyes with Touya.
For just a brief moment, Shizuku’s eyes widened in surprise, then—
—Aha!
As if spontaneously laughing, she flashed him a grin and extended her right hand toward him, forming a playful fist.
That innocent smile and gesture immediately reminded him of the genuine side she’d shown him that one night, causing Touya’s heartbeat to pound loudly.

Receiving that special fan-service—and even more so, Shizuku’s genuine, personal smile—left Touya feeling an indescribable sense of excitement.
He didn’t fully understand why his heart raced this way, but instead, there was something else he finally grasped clearly.
That idol standing up there was undoubtedly the same girl he knew.
It was at this moment Touya felt that he finally had a firm conviction.
——
“Waaah! Did you see that!? She totally gave us fan-service just now! That was amazing!”
Even after the live had ended, Natsuki remained giddy with excitement.
While Touya had his T-shirt sleeve repeatedly tugged by her, he could only vaguely respond, “Ah, yeah…” as if still in a daze.
“But that smile from Shizuku-chan—I’ve never seen it before… Like, during ‘My Summer,’ it felt so childish, so natural, you know?”
“R-Really?”
“Why are you acting flustered?”
“I’m not flustered or anything.”
“Hah, I bet you’re one of those who thought it was for you.”
“Thought what?”
Touya asks reflexively, and Natsuki smirks smugly.
“Getting personalized fan-service in a big venue like this is extremely rare. Even if it happens, there are tons of people around you. Unless it’s clearly targeted, no one can be sure it was meant specifically for them. That’s why everyone naturally ends up thinking, ‘Wait, wasn’t that meant for me?’ even though they have no real proof.”
“So you were hyped up knowing it might’ve been a misunderstanding?”
“It’s all about the vibe! Honestly, just breathing the same air as an idol is something to be grateful for.”
“Haha… I see.”
Although Touya internally couldn’t keep up with her enthusiasm, he sensed speaking out would complicate things, so he decided to let it slide.
“Alright then, you know what they say, ‘A bird doesn’t foul the nest it leaves,’ so let’s check carefully for anything we might’ve left behind before heading out.”
“Yeah.”
With a deeply satisfied Natsuki, they confirm they haven’t left anything and leave the venue.
Outside, it was already completely dark. The lingering excitement among other fans hadn’t dissipated, and the road back to the station was packed with people buzzing with enthusiasm.
After switching trains, they finally reach the station closest to home.
Natsuki’s heading in a different direction, but she’s looking at him like she has something to say.
So Touya speaks first, partly to thank her for today.
“Good work today. Thanks to your invite, I had a great experience. Thanks.”
“Y-Yeah, glad to hear it. So, Touya, are you a Shizuku-chan fan now?”
“…Sorry, but I wouldn’t say I became a fan exactly. I meant it when I said it was a great experience, though, and I genuinely enjoyed myself.”
“Aww, guess you didn’t become a fellow fan, huh… But it was really fun hanging out like this after a long time, so can I invite you again?”
“Sure. Whether I go depends on the moment.”
Hearing Touya’s reply, Natsuki smiles happily.
“That’s good enough. See you at school, then.”
“Yeah, get home safe.”
Touya starts walking slowly only after her figure disappears.
What he told Natsuki was mostly true—he hasn’t become a fan of the idol Himeno Shizuku.
His heart raced during the live because he caught a glimpse of the real Shizuku at an unexpected moment.
And he was vague about future invites because it depends on what Shizuku says—if she doesn’t want him to go, he won’t.
“What am I even justifying to myself?”
Feeling somewhat exasperated at himself, he looked up at the moon above and let out a sigh.
Starting tomorrow, he’d be meeting Shizuku face-to-face again at school.
When that happened, would she confront him about secretly attending her concert?
Feeling oddly nervous about the idea, Touya quickened his steps toward home.
